Insanity Chronicle of Doom

Because everyone deserves the chance to chronicle ill-fated decisions to embark on workout plans that are far too advanced for them.

Day 12 - P&R II (1/26)

Absolute whirlwind of a day as any first day of a new semester will be. I'm digging the new kiddos thus far on the whole and of course still have much love for the oldies but goodies. We gave a fancypants tour to some Merck folk in yet another (hopefully un-vain) attempt to fund my position for next year. Took a couple students to an internship interview at Duke Hospital. And put out the usual fires and entertained the usual joke-age of a typical PLC day.

Thusly so, my meal schedule went quite awry - Shaun T would NOT have been pleased. By popular request here be what I ate: Meal I (please read that as Meal the First): apple, greek yogurt, almonds (almonds didn't get eaten until circa 3:30); MII: balance bar and cottage cheese (circa lunch time); MIII: round bread with slic-ed pork (bits consumed ever so gradually betwixt 3 and 5) and a salad (never got ate); MIV: garbanzo beans, spinach, and turkey "salad" - can you call that a salad? (another never got ate - NGA if you will, we'll try it for tomorrow); and MIV: baked cod (aka 6 reduced fat fishsticks from Trader Joe's) and mixed veg.

Alright but this isn't List O' Food Chronicle of Doom so let's get to the matter at hand. Workin' it out was hella good times this morning. Well, semi-lies. But I do remember distinctly enjoying a few moments and moments within moments. Point being, I am feeling ever more badass in my attempts to keep up with Shaun T and co. Like the times when my vision unclouds and I realize I'm kind of almost moving as fast as them in the warm-up rotations. Ballllllllllling.

BIG NEWS for the morrow - Shaunie boy orders that I not only knock out worstever Pure Cardio but then follow it by 16 minutes of never before seen Cardio Abs. Stay the heck tuned, folks.
